The Girls Bowling team was back in action for a second straight afternoon at the Noblestown Lanes for a home match against Carlynton. The team lost 7-0 and is 0-2 after the first week of competition.
Despite the team record, the Canevin Girls Bowlers are having success on an individual level to start the WPIBL season. Senior Spencer Putnam rolled a single game high of 170 and a 488 series against Carlynton. Sophomore Alysha Cutri had a high game of 171 and a 450 series.
The girls are in action next on Wednesday, December 11 for a road match against Montour at the Crafton-Ingram Lanes, starting at 3:30 PM.
