The Girls JV Volleyball team extended their winning streak to 7 straight matches, by sweeping Central Valley on Monday night.

Three straight aces from Erin LaQuatra got BC off to a 7-2 start. They extended the lead behind a kill and three straight serves from Alysha Cutri. A kill from Natalie Zurbola and an ace from Sani Jones complimented 7 kills from Keira Kozlowski in the set as the lead expanded to 23-11. Halle Bergman ended the first set with kills on the last 2 BC swings and the Crusaders won set #1, 25-14.

Freshman Gia Beichner got the second set started in the right direction for Canevin. Her 2 kills and 3 aces got BC to an 8-3 lead. Three more kills from Kozlowski, two more aces from Jones and 9 digs from Bella DeMark kept BC out in front comfortably the rest of the night, as they finished off the 2nd set 25-18.

Kozlowski finished with 10 kills and Bergman had 5. LaQuatra, Gia Beichner and Jones each served 3 aces in the match. Mia Altman added an ace to her 11 assists and Bella DeMark recorded 23 digs in the match. The JV girls are 8-2 on the season.
