Bishop Canevin Girls Volleyball clinched their fifth straight section championship, and fourth in a row outright with a 3-0 win at home on Senior Night on Thrusday night.

Senior Gillian Golupski had 5 aces in the first set to give the Crusaders a 14-3 lead. BC won the first set 25-8.

The second set was tied at 13 before BC went on a 12-2 to finish with a 25-15 win. Senior Rutanya Taylor had 3 kills in the set for the Crusaders.

The Crusaders finished off the night with a 25-13 third set win. Senior Izzy Beichner had 2 aces as part of a 4 point service run to give Canevin a 14-7 lead. Senior Natalie had 3 digs and an assist in the set as the Crusaders finished the match to clinch the section championship.

Bishop Canevin next in action on Monday night at Upper St. Clair. They close out section play on the road at Eden Christian on Tuesday night and finish the regular season at home on Friday October 23 against Mt. Lebanon.
