The Bishop Canevin Golf Team was one player short of a full lineup on Thursday. That resulted in a forfeit of their match against Fort Cherry. That drops the BC Golfers to a 1-4 record in section play.
As is the custom in these situations, the golfers that were present still competed on the course. Sophomore Mark Ingold continued his strong play with a season low 42 over his nine hole round.
The Golfers are off until after the holiday. They’re back on the course Tuesday in a non-section match against Seton-LaSalle. Tuesday’s scheduled tee time is 3:30 pm at Chartiers Country Club.
