Masking Update from 11/17/20:
Based on the information provided by the State today all gym classes, coaches, athletes, trainers, cheerleaders, spectators, etc are now required to wear a mask at all times whether they are playing or not. This is not optional and goes into effect tomorrow on November 18, 2020.
So moving forward all participants in sports/gym must be masked at all times, unless getting a drink.
Does the Order apply to athletes and sports activities?
Yes. Everyone who participates in sport activities including coaches, athletes (including cheerleaders), and spectators must wear a face covering, such as a mask, unless they fall under an exception in Section 3 of the Order.
Indoors: Coaches, athletes (including cheerleaders), and spectators must wear face coverings, when indoors and where another person or persons who are not members of the individual’s household are present in the same space, irrespective of physical distance. This includes while actively engaged in workouts, competition, and on the sidelines, etc.
Outdoors: Coaches, athletes (including cheerleaders), and spectators must wear face coverings if they cannot maintain sustained physical distance from persons outside of their household. This includes while actively engaged in workouts, competition, and on the sidelines, in the dugout, etc. If sustained six-foot distancing can be maintained, face coverings may be removed when outdoors.
Traveling Update as of 11/17/20:
The state orders require anyone coming to Pennsylvania from another state to either quarantine upon arrival or receive a negative covid-19 test within 72 hours of coming to the state. The same goes for Pennsylvanians leaving the state and returning. The order does not apply to those who commute across state lines for work or medical treatment.

PIAA Guidelines for competition
Attached you will find further guidelines for return to competition from the PIAA. Please review the guidelines, as they differ between sports.
Schedules for fall sports are in the process of being updated based on the WPIAL fall sports guidelines. Schedules will be disseminated as they are completed.
Start dates for Camps and School
Start dates for all fall sports remain as scheduled. Camps begin on August 17. However, the student body reports back to campus on August 20 for the beginning of the school year. The dates for competition have been moved back, as you will see once schedules are completed.
Camp practices may be no more that 3 hours in length
In season practice should be no longer than 2 hours in length for any program.
Our student are permitted to still participate in more than one activity should they so choose, as long as they are following all of the Health and Safety guidelines that have been published and shared.
Student oversight after school
There are to be no unsupervised students on campus after the school day. Coaches must be the last individuals to leave after practice, and should make sure that everything is cleaned as well. If a student is staying for a 5 pm practice then they need to be in the school library until that time, or go home and return to campus for practice, which is preferred option in this current situation.
